Request: We currently use Simpro as our job management system, however, we have a lot of different assets that our engineers go out to daily for servicing and faults, we want to use QR Codes to assign to these assets out in the field, however currently, there is no option for QR Codes or a QR Scanner in Simpro itself and we don’t have the resources to create this ourselves, is this a possibility to add within Simpro?
🎉 Status Update: This has now been added to our Simpro Enhancement Pack
We have now created a QR Scanner enhancement to our Simpro enhancement pack. Although this functionality is delivered through the enhancement pack, it is a standalone feature. This enhancement works by assigning each Customer Asset with a unique QR Code, which you are then able name and print as a label, or within a document to print multiple at one time. Upon scanning, either by an engineer or customer, a WebApp loads up, this WebApp displays the asset as well as options to confirm if this is the correct Asset, allows the user to view documents or log a job. The WebApp is fully customisable with your company logo and colour, as well as the option to add a password for the documents.
